It took forever for the torrent to download…
Once again: here are the rapidshare links. Use 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ as usual to extract the files. If you do not have a premium account just put the links in JDownloader http://jdownloader.org/ and let it do the hard work for you. Probably not faster than using bittorrent but works across firewalls.

Thanks again for the links. Any particular reason it took longer? I saw the usual number of seeds and peers.

@raptormage: My guess is that in workdays there is a larger number of people using high-speed office connections. Ah!
Usually, after a couple of hours I see peers at 100%, this time it took several hours before reaching that point.

As a sidenote: I’m trying to setup uTorrent to automatically download torrents from your feed with no success. I read the uTorrent RSS tutorial (the one linked from your blog) but there must be something I’m missing.
Have you, or anybody reading this, had any success with that? And, in this case, what did you put the the various fields of the “RSS Downloader” dialog?

I think the delay has more to do with the time the torrent was posted. I only started seeding the torrent this morning so the usual schedule for downloaders would’ve been offset by about 4hrs. This will be the case for most west coast games with a late start time.
As for the RSS download, it’s pretty simple. In utorrent, File > Add RSS Feed > http://www.mininova.org/rss.xml?user=raptor_mage
Then choose “Automatically download all items published in feed”. This will start downloading all the torrents which you can stop and delete if you already have them. All torrents posted after that will start downloading as soon as the feed picks it up.

@raptormage: Ah, OK, I was trying to use the feedburner feed since I saw you’re now posting direct links to the feeds and not mininova links anymore so I was unsure about that still being used…

raptormage maybe you could try to seed giving the first half higher priority, so peers can watch it while the second is downloading.
I do this when i’m downloading, but seeding should give a boost to the swarm.
Anyway, thanks again. And again. And again…

Yeah, I second the last request. I always give priority to 1st half.
Of course this is all whining, you already do more tha enough for us Raptors fans in Europe.
BTW, what a comeback!! I remember something similar a couple years ago, when Raptors recovered form a 15 points deficit with 7:00 in the 4th quarter. It will be hard to defeat this team if they all put their hearts on it.

@morci: It never occurred to me that anyone would try to use the main feed for torrents until you brought it up. Now that I think about it, it seems obvious. I’ve added enclosures to all the torrent links so you can use the main feed to get all the games. It’ll be a few minutes faster than using the mininova feed.
As for prioritizing the halves, I’ll see what I can do.

Never used this site before as I have always downloaded from mininova(r.i.p) but as that is no longer gonna be the case I wasn’t sure where to go to still watch the raptor games! Thanks for all the effort!!

@Tron2040: Welcome to the site. As someone who has been downloading Raptor games for as long as you have, I knew you wouldn’t let something like an index site or two going down stop you from watching these games.
