The Raptors will face another short-handed team tonight. Richard Hamilton is out with an ankle injury and Tayshaun Prince is out with back problems. The Pistons played an emotional game last night against the Magic and we’ll see how much energy they can bring for the second game of a back to back.

The Raptors are still looking for that chemistry everyone was talking about in the preseason. Their defensive woes have slowed down the gelling process and players are hesitant to assume leadership on the floor. We’ll see if the extra practice sessions yields results tonight especially with Jose Calderon who’s been the main target of criticism early on.

Vince Carter is back at the ACC. Raptor fans may not get the chance to boo him however because he’s coming off an ankle sprain suffered in the previous game against the Nets. If he’s unable to play, the Raps will be facing a Magic team without two of their marquee players. Rashard Lewis is serving a 10 game suspension for failing a drug test. Should also be interesting to watch Orlando who have their own PG controversy brewing. Jason Williams has been getting the bulk of the minutes and producing while Jameer’s trying to get back into form after his shoulder surgery. Is that TJ on the phone?
