His team is expecting him to bounce back after a poor shooting night where he went 9-26 from the field and missed all 7 of his three point attempts. Like the Raptors, the Thunder are scoreboard watching after every game. They’re tied for fifth in the West with Phoenix and only a game and a half ahead of eighth-place Portland.

The last time the Raptors played the Thunder, six players from OKC scored in double figures and the Raps were never really in it. That was during the stretch of games without Bosh in the lineup. Now that the Raps have their go to guy back and with each game getting closer to the player he was before the all-star break, Toronto should be able to present a challenge to the playoff-bound Thunder.

The Atlanta Hawks are in town to take on the Raptors for the third time this season. Atlanta won the two previous games going away but they’re going to have to try to do it again without the services of Joe Johnson. Johnson is back in Atlanta getting treatment for Achilles’ tendinitis. Filling in will be the rookie Jeff Teague who’s averaging 12ppg against the Raptors this year, a healthy improvement over his 3ppg season average. The Hawks are going for their fourth straight win and look to continue the roll they’ve been on throughout the season.

The Sixers are coming into this afternoon’s game on a five game losing streak. It’s important to point out those five games were against the Suns, Lakers, Magic, Hawks and Celtics. They’re going to be hungry for a win after such tough competition. Iguodala especially will be eager to put the team on his back and prove his coach wrong after recent comments about being a good second option and not being able to carry a team. The Raptors will be buoyed by the return of Chris Bosh today and they’ll need him if they hope to win and start their upcoming four game west coast trip with confidence.

The Knicks are in Toronto for the first of two meetings at the ACC. The Raptors were expecting Chris Bosh to be in uniform tonight and right the ship but he’s out again but this time it’s because of a stomach virus. Hedo is still questionable so a streak that was expected to end tonight suddenly looks in danger of continuing into Sunday’s game.

New York has written off the season and are eagerly waiting for the offseason after clearing up enough cap space with the McGrady trade to land two max free agents. With 22 games to play, D’Antoni is free to try anything like he did against the Pistons when he asked McGrady to run the point. He’ll probably stick with the same game plan tonight. Should be interesting to see what kind of defensive game plan Triano comes up with.
