The Raptors aren’t a very good road team and that makes their chances of stopping the Magic from sweeping the season series against the Raptors very slim. The Raps do have a few things going in their favour tonight. First is the expected return of Jose and Hedo to the lineup. Jose will probably be coming off the bench giving the second unit a much needed facilitator on offense. Orlando played last night in Indiana so they should be feeling the effects of playing the second game of a back to back while the Raptors are well rested. Let’s hope Toronto can get this game just in case they meet the Magic in the playoffs.

The Raps play the Orlando Magic for the third time this season. Both previous games were losses and they weren’t close. The Magic are a bad match-up for Toronto with nobody to hold Dwight Howard off the boards or put up much of a fight when he gets the ball down low. The same can be said for most other teams in the league but with Vince and Lewis on the floor at the same time, the Magic offence can be overwhelming.

The Magic came into town on November 1 without the services of Carter, Petrieus and Lewis and beat the Raptors easily. The game was memorable for its altercation between good friends, Bosh and Howard. Both players dismissed the event as a misunderstanding. This afternoon’s game should be another good opportunity for Bosh to show his improved toughness.

The only player who won’t be able to go today for the Magic is Jameer Nelson who had knee surgery this week and will be out for at least a month. The Raptors have Bargnani battling flu symptoms, Belinelli with a sore groin and Wright with an ankle sprain. Bargnani and Belinelli are both listed as day-to-day but I think they’ll play. Bargnani will go but Belinelli is out.

Vince Carter is back at the ACC. Raptor fans may not get the chance to boo him however because he’s coming off an ankle sprain suffered in the previous game against the Nets. If he’s unable to play, the Raps will be facing a Magic team without two of their marquee players. Rashard Lewis is serving a 10 game suspension for failing a drug test. Should also be interesting to watch Orlando who have their own PG controversy brewing. Jason Williams has been getting the bulk of the minutes and producing while Jameer’s trying to get back into form after his shoulder surgery. Is that TJ on the phone?
